Regenerative Tourism

Leaving a Lasting Legacy

Prince Waikiki is committed to supporting our local economy, environment and community to help preserve Hawaii’s unique landscape and island home. We believe in promoting environmental conservation, cultural preservation and community engagement to leave our destination better today for generations to come tomorrow.

Voluntourism

Through our Community Day benefit provided to all employees, Prince Waikiki volunteers over 700 hours in community service throughout the year.

Join us in our mission to help preserve some of Hawaii’s most precious resources by volunteering for local beach clean ups, native tree planting or helping various nonprofit organizations throughout Oahu.

Cultural Preservation

Prince Waikiki is proud to partner with Ke Kula Kaiapuni O Anuenue in helping to support one of Hawaii’s Hawaiian language immersion schools. Through our volunteer hours and donations throughout the year, we are pleased to help make a positive impact to help students at Anuenue School learn the traditional Hawaiian language, rich history, culture, art and education of Hawaii. Prince Waikiki also supports local events and festivals focused on preserving the Hawaiian culture such as the Aloha Festivals and King Kamehameha Day Celebrations.

Workforce Development

Prince Waikiki is a leader in the community in helping to mentor the next generation of hospitality workforce. Through our Junior Ambassador Mentorship Program, partnerships with nonprofit organizations such as KUPU and the University of Hawaii Student Athlete Program, ClimbHI and the Department of Education, Prince Waikiki works with over 400 local students and athletes from elementary school through college to educate the positive impact tourism has for Hawaii’s economy and to encourage a future career in hospitality.
